They are actually rapid weight loss diets.  We are speaking, here, primarily of the juice diets.  A juice cleansing diet generally advocates no solid food intake what so ever, and here is where the potential for danger lurks. Your body needs to take in certain nutrients and vitamins to maintain life and stay strong.  A <strong>juice cleansing diet</strong> may maintain that they provide all of the nutrients and vitamins you need to sustain your body through their starvation regimen, and they probably do, but just barely.  It is arguable as to whether you need to add the extreme element of starvation for a cleansing diet to be effective.<br/><br/></p>
