The colon is where all of the action occurs, this is where your digestive process comes to it’s end. If your tract is clean and clear of any obstructions then you will be able to flush out your system quickly and get rid of the waste that is in your body/ If on the other hand things are clogged up and not wanting to clear out then you will get a back up of material that will remain in your system. This waste being in your system is the most likely cause for a feeling of not having any energy. If you are wanting to ensure that you have a free flowing digestive system then you will need to make sure that you have plenty of fiber in your diet.
We are a country that thrives on junk food. We are eager to grab that hamburger from the
drive through and take it either back to our workplace or to home for our dinner. The bad news is that long after you finish the hamburger the wast of it will still be left in your colon waiting to be digested. Without any fiber to help in the digestion process you will find yourself with constipation all the time. This will not only hurt your digestive tract but will also cause you to not feel well as well as having an low amount of energy.
One idea that you might want to consider is taking some of the junk food out of your diet. Try replacing the junk food with some healthy fiber and whole grains. Try making it a point that you keep whole grain bread in your kitchen at all times. These whole grains will go a long way in helping to keep you regular and keep the buildup of waste out of your system.
A healthy colon is essential to making sure that you have a healthy lifestyle and are not always sick due to your body not being able to fight infection and promote a sense of well being.
