• Although apple cider vinegar is known for its many pros, it is also its biggest con. This is because ones people hear of its many uses, they usually do not carefully research it before taking it, and therefore it could be dangerous.
• Apple cider vinegar has an awful taste.
• Apple cider vinegar contains various acids that can be harmful if it is not diluted before usage.
• If it is use to often for long periods of time, it can lead to lower levels of potassium and lower bone density.
• If you use medication wile drinking apple cider vinegar, it can interfere with your medications.
• Because apple cider vinegar is very easy to purchase, some apple cider brands may contain harmful chemical that can be dangerous for your body.
• Although many people use apple cider vinegar for various things, there is no exact proof from clinical studies regarding how apple cider vinegar manages to do all it does. In other words, apple cider has no scientific back up.

As you can see, apple cider vinegar has many pros and cons, and considering the last con, you are probably asking yourself how there are so many pros, well truth be told, there have been a lot of people who have taken apple cider vinegar for different reasons and they have seen result.     My sister would swear up and down that apple cider vinegar helped her lose all the weight that it did, but she failed to notice that she was also on a very strict healthy diet and exercised like a mad man at the time. I tried a shot of that vinegar just for fun on time, terrible taste. If I had a weaker stomach, it would have made me vomit on the spot.

    Acetic acid is also an acid you want to avoid if pregnant, it has a good chance to cause you to miscarry.

    Being a diabetic, I need to lose some weight so that I could easily control my blood sugar. Generally when you are fatter hen it would be had to control ones blood sugar and when you are thinner then it would be easy to control diabetes.
    There are some studies that drinking a few apple vinegar cider could lower your blood sugar level so I like cooking some foods that has some vinegar in it.

    My husband is not on the Apple Cider Vinegar diet, but he has Type 1 diabetes. Sometimes his insulin just isn’t enough to keep his blood sugar regulated and it never fails that every time he drinks apple cider vinegar throughout the day, his levels go down (he has high blood sugar levels mostly) and he starts feeling better. So in our situation the pros definitely outweigh the cons.
